1. Open the .exe file to open the Email Extractor software
2. Input username: “guest” and password: “guest” for free trial or input your premium username and password into the login form.
3. Choose which type of scan you want to use.
– Deep URL Scan -> will scan into sub pages / sub domain of the website you have specified. The scanner will stop scanning once it has scraped an email or the timer has run out.
– Front Page Scan -> will scan the front/main/current page of the website you have specified.
– File Scan -> will scan a file and output any found emails.
4. DEEP URL SCAN – Button functionalities
– Start Scan -> will start the scanning mechanism of the software.
– Clear URL List -> will clear the list of URLs you have specified in the 1st column
– Stop/Pause -> will stop or pause the program
– Resume -> will resume the program if you have stop/pause it.
– Export Data -> will save the data into a csv file (you must first stop the program, or let the program finish scanning all the URL specified)
5. DEEP URL SCAN – URL list (1st column)
– You can input multiple URLs/Websites (divided by a new line or enter)
– URLs/Website may or may not contain “http://” or is a valid URL/Website, but must contain a “www” or its sub domain name
– After specifying the URLs/Website, you may click on the “Start Scan” button
6. DEEP URL SCAN
– As you can see the program fixed the URL/Website list in the 1st column
– The other buttons will be disabled, and the stop/pause button will be enabled
– The Scanning mechanism start
7. DEEP URL SCAN – Import/Saving Data
– You may push the stop/pause button to stop the program (or let it finish scanning all data in the list) and be able to import the data.- Click on the Export data and input a file name, the program will now then save the data and gives you an alert box once the process is complete.
8. FRONT PAGE SCAN – Main Page
– The front page scan is no different from the Deep URL Scan, only difference is that it only scans the front/current page of the specified url
– Resume Scan, starts the scanner
– Clear URL list, clears the URL list
– Stop/Pause, stops or pauses the scanner
– Import Data, saves the data into a csv file (you need to stop the program first, or let it finish scanning all the data in list)
9. FRONT PAGE SCAN – Scanning
– Just input (or copy/paste) URLs/Websites into the 1st column and then click the resume scan button
– Data will be shown in the Datagrid
– Click the stop/pause button to enable the “Export Data” button and then import the data into a csv file.
10. FILE SCAN – Loading
– Click on the “Load File” button and choose a file you want the scanner to extract emails from.
– Afterwards, the program will start automatically
11. FILE SCAN – Saving
– After the program has finished scanning, you may now be able to export the data by clicking on the “Export Data” button.
